Zombie Mini from Roka Cola

Greetings zombie horde! Today I bring to you the most wonderful thing on the web I have seen lately. The company that makes this little guy above is named Roka Cola. They can be found on Etsy, Facebook, Twitter and their new blog. They are selling the zombie mini for $15.00. Someday maybe my budget will let me indulge, but for now, I at least wanted to pass on the news. They have brain rings too. Sigh. I need to win the lottery, people. Being a broke zombie is just terrible. Not too many places that won't mind you munching on the customers. I do try. You know I do. My no biting policy is still in effect here. I insist. Cause, really. I would have to clean up the blood and housework and I just don't get along. I'd rather be reading.

Check out these cool peeps over at their website. They are having a cool giveaway, so get there soon.

Pop over to http://www.parajunkee.com for more details on how to follow this very cool blog.

As for the answer to this week's question...No, I would not change of the name of this blog. It suits me. I am a zombie. I shamble. What else could I call it? Maybe Zombie girl reads? Or Zombie girl takes a bite out of mailman? Nope. Then he wouldn't bring my new books, so that would suck. Nope. I like my blog name just fine.

As for my favorite TV series, well...

Need I say more.

Thanks for joining me on another Follow the Zombie Friday. Stay a moment and share some zombie love. Then you had better run. I get hungry this time of night.

She Smells The Dead

It's the beginning of senior year and Yuki's psychic awareness of ghostly spirits is threatening to ruin her life. Her ability to sense spirits of the dead isn't glamorous like on TV. SHE SMELLS THE DEAD. Yuki is being visited in her dreams and suspects that her friend Calvin is involved in something strange. Will Yuki be able to save the spirits and herself? (Goodreads)

I received a copy of this book from the author this week. I haven't gotten very far into it, but what I have read, I totally love. This is the first book in the series and I have to tell you that Yuki has some killer smellovision and some great attitude. (and I know alot about having attitude people.) This book is well worth the read. So, off I go to read some more. (And maybe find some unlucky person to chomp) Oh, hi. I meant, um...where is that nice piece of leftover pizza?

In my mailbox...

Good evening zombie horde. I hope your week was fruitful and that you found many more exciting and wonderful zombie books to read. Just in case you needed any help, I thought I would share my amazing finds this week.

One I am most excited about is Zombie, Ohio. That one looks like it will be amazing. The Beautiful Dead series as well as Zombies for Zombies and The Undertakers also look amazing. Each of these wonderful books was sent by the publisher for me to review.

So, check out your local bookstore for these wonderful reads. I will share my reviews as I make my way down the pile. Where is that microwave popcorn? Hmm....

A Zombie Valentine

Hope you had a marvelous Valentine's Day. What did your true love bring to you? A heart? Some chocolate perhaps? A brain maybe? Do tell. Mine brought me books. He knows me too well. And Mexican food. Life is too good.

What I'm listening to....

I just finished listening to Bloodlist by P. N. Elrod.

Jack Fleming, ace reporter, always had a weak spot for strange ladies. And he certainly should have listened to the one who said she was a vampire! Because when a thug blasts several bullets through Jack's back, he does not die--and discovers that he is a vampire as well! First in an exciting new vampire adventure series.

Imagine dying and coming back as a vampire. Jack Flemming does just that. In a world of gangster violence, Jack must solve the mystery of who killed him and what is behind it. This story kept me listening and guessing. It is the great start to an amazing series. I checked it out through the ebranch at my local library. An excellent way to keep up with new and amazing audiobooks, fellow zombie horde members. Check out your local library and see if you have access to an ebranch.

The Last Word: Interview With Jonathan Maberry

The Last Word: Interview With Jonathan Maberry: "I discovered Jonathan Maberry as I was browsing my local bookstore with a friend. My book shopping method includes hurrying to the YA secti..."

This article by The Last Word http://cjredwine.blogspot.com/ is the best, my fellow zombie horde members. Talking with Jonathan Maberry about Rot and Ruin, which is one of the only zombie books that actually made my cry by the way, it is the best interview ever. Enter Were-Llama and you have it. Completely awesome. Click the link for the full article. You won't be disappointed. Promise.

Were-Llama!!! Kudos to The Last Word for their very awesome mascot. He had me with one look of his red eyes. Had to share with the horde. Awesome!

Good evening zombie horde. It is time for another Follow Friday. Thanks to http://parajunkee.com/ for the linky tool and weekly meme. This week's featured blog is:

If you would like to learn more about Ruby's Reads, pop over to the link at Parajunkee.com.

Question of the week:

What type of romance hero do you like best? Tough and aggressive? Silent and brooding?

My favorite are the dark and brooding. I'm a zombie. Brooding just appeals, you know?

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you stay a moment and share some comments and follow. We always need new members of the zombie horde.

Truth or Dare Thursday

Who is your favorite paranormal guy? Who would you want stepping out of the pages of a book and right into your living room? This is the Truth or Dare Thursday question hosted by Parajunkee's View. Win a Gift Certificate to Books A Million. Click on the link: http://www.parajunkee.com/

My answer:

Hmmm. Being the zombie chick that I am, there is so much to consider. I mean, if I get someone too fragile, I might break him. Or if he makes me really mad on a bad day, I could maybe literally bite his head off. So, whoever it is has to be able to deal with my super pms and either hand me back my crankiness on a platter, or run really fast. He has to have a strong stomach for my interesting eating habits and be willing to put up with my extreme addiction to moisturizer. Kind of not an option if you know what I mean.

Ok. I think it may have to be Jean Claude from the Anita Blake series. Let's face it. The guy is HOT. Seriously smokin. And he can handle his own. Now I just have to figure out how to get that monster slayer, Anita, out of my way... She kind of has this control issue with zombies. Yech! I admire her, but dang, she weilds a mean machette.

Thanks to Parajunkee for hosting this little Truth or Dare moment. Leave me a comment. Who did you pick?
